UMA Achieved QS Asian University Rankings – South Eastern Asia

Medan, November 2024 – Universitas Medan Area (UMA) has once again proven its excellence by achieving an impressive ranking as released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asian University Rankings – South Eastern Asia 2025. UMA is proudly ranked #=169 in Southeast Asia, solidifying its position as one of the best universities in Medan, Indonesia.

In addition, UMA is recognized as:

#1 Private University (PTS) in North Sumatra
#3 among Public and Private Universities (PTN/PTS) in North Sumatra
#169 among all universities in Indonesia
#901 among all universities in Southeast Asia

This achievement reflects UMA’s continuous efforts to enhance its competitiveness at both national and international levels.

These efforts align with UMA’s strategic plan, vision, and mission for the future, particularly through the ECOSEC SusDev UMA Program,” explained Dr. Ir. Rahmad Syah, M.Kom., IPM., Asean Eng.
